Pastor Thomas Broom
Thomas was born and raised in York, SC. He came to faith through the ministry of Campus Outreach while playing football at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Thomas got his ministry experience in college, and sensed the Lord leading him to pastoral ministry during this time. After graduating from Presbyterian College with a B.S. in Business Management, Thomas began the M.Div. program at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. During his time in Louisville, he developed a desire to return home to serve a local church. After spending some time as a Pastoral Resident at Park Baptist Church, the Lord opened the door for Thomas to begin here at Grace Chapel as the Lead Pastor in December 2022. He continues to be a student and is currently working on a Ph.D. in Expository Preaching through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Thomas is married to Erica and together they enjoy reading, drinking coffee, cooking, and spending time outdoors. He is also an avid bass angler.
